been a long time gone.

So, I've been a busy non-blogging bee. Shows, award applications, moving, etc have devoured my time as of late. Here's some new work by way of an apology.

The piece is tentatively titled Derek 1. It's a collaboration with well-known gay BDSM performer Derek da Silva. I found his tattoos fascinating, and so decided to clone them out and re-draw them on a large-scale print. Lovely.

I will have a solo installation of a new project at the Center on Halsted, going up November 15 and opening December 1, World AIDS Day. More details to come...

My work will appear at the Johnsonese Gallery exhibition Summer Salon II, from August 18 - September 1, 2007. The opening reception is Saturday, August 18, 7-9 pm, and I'll be there to answer questions and drink wine.
